Ingredients
- 1 bowl ghee
- 1 bowl Suji (rawa/semolina)
- 1 bowl sugar
- 4 bowls boiled water
- 8-10 almonds (soaked in hot water and peeled)
- 5-6 cashew nuts
- 5-6 cardamoms finely powdered
Steps
- In a wok heat ghee, add suji and roast till it turns golden brown
- Add boiled water and cook till suji absorbs the water
- Add sugar, the mix will now turn a bit watery
- Cook on low flame for about 4-5 minutes
- The halwa will take a nice dark brown color
- Add finely powdered cardamoms
- Let it cool and garnish with finely shredded almonds and cashewnuts
